With the majority of items BabyGoRound provides being gently used donations from our community of supporters, you can imagine that there is a lot of sorting and preparing of these items to make sure they are in excellent and safe condition for another family’s use. This is where our incredible team of Onsite Volunteers comes in. Onsite Volunteer tasks may include sorting items that have recently come through our doors, cleaning items and checking for safety, replenishing our storefront inventory, as well as bundling requested items for families who have requested curbside pickup.

Collecting gently used baby gear donations to support thousands of families each year is no small task! Community Volunteers help support BabyGoRound’s initiatives by showing up in their local communities in a variety of ways. Sometimes they connect with local parents face to face or in online groups to share about BabyGoRound and donation opportunities, some allow their porch or garage to function as a collection point for gear donations, and for some it’s a combination of both! This position is naturally more flexible in nature and allows you to actively volunteer even while at home.

Hosting a drive is a great way to connect with others in your network, rally around a great cause and make a real difference together. This could be among your friends, at your place of work, at your child’s school or daycare, or in lieu of gifts at a celebration you are hosting. It’s up to you!
