Help Us Collect
1,000 Winter Outerwear Items and
1,000 Baby Blankets
This Holiday Season!

From December 2 – 13, we will be collecting winter outerwear items and baby blankets to go home with local families in need to help keep their babies warm during Vancouver’s coldest months. These items make such a difference to the comfort of little ones and allow their parents to have increased flexibility and mobility during all kinds of weather. We have had amazing support over the past years as we have annually collected items during the holiday season and are excited to be doing this once again!

This year, our goal is to collect 1,000 baby blankets and 1,000 coats (sizes 0 – 24 months). This is a beloved annual event for us and our community of supporters, and we are excited to invite you to participate once again! As many of the families we provide services to do not have appropriate outerwear for their babies and typically travel by public transit or on foot,  the impact of having access to these items is tremendous. Additionally, Canadian winters can be an adjustment for the many families coming to us from warmer climates, and having critical outerwear and blankets to keep their babies safe, warm and cozy is a huge relief.

We want to ensure that no baby goes without the items necessary to stay warm outdoors during Vancouver’s coldest months. You can help do this by donating a winter outerwear item!

List of items being collected for the drive include: snowsuits, winter jackets, snow pants, fleece jumpsuits, pram bags, and baby blankets (clothing in sizes 0 - 24 months only).
